Colliers International has appointed Industrial & Logistics specialist, Robert Whatmuff to join its Leeds office as a Director, further bolstering the team’s expertise in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Robert Whatmuff joins the firm from LSH, where he spent seven years. During his time at LSH, Robert headed the Leeds office while also leading the firm’s Industrial & Logistics team in the Northern regions; covering Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, the North East and Scotland.
Over the course of his career, Robert has worked with a range of institutional clients and corporate occupiers, as well as strong regional clients, including: Peel, Harworth Estates, M&G Real Estate, Gladman, IPIF, Boots, Hermes Parcelnet, Siemens, A- Plant, Wilton Developments and Pullans.
Whatmuff has a strong track record in the Yorkshire and North East market, with 2014 successes including: his involvement in the 412,518 sq ft letting of LPP Sheffield on behalf of, the Segro and Moorfield joint venture, Logistics Property Partnership; acting on behalf of Wilton Developments in the disposal of 135,000 sq ft at Latitude 135 in Wakefield; the letting of 100,000 sq ft new build warehouse B100M on behalf of North Lincolnshire Council; and, successful disposals at the Advanced Manufacturing Park, Rotherham on behalf of Harworth Estates.
Based in Colliers International’s Leeds office, Whatmuff will join Director, Simon Rhodes and the wider Industrial & Logistics team, servicing the firm’s clients across Yorkshire and the North East. Clients include: ASDA, Standard Life, CBRE Investors, Safestore Booker, The Co-Op, Screwfix, Harworth Estates and Advanced Manufacturing Park Rotherham.
