On behalf of DTZ Investment Management, Colliers International has completed the freehold purchase of 100 Hackford Road in Stockwell, London, from Charterhouse LLP.

The purchase price was £3.125 million. The 14,455 sq ft unit is currently let to The Type Museum, which holds one of the world’s best typographic collections. Let at a passing rent of £120,000 per annum on a 75 year lease expiring 2075, the property sits alongside the former home of artist Vincent van Gogh who resided there in 1873.

Felix Fiennes, Head of Central London Lease Advisory at Colliers International, said, “Stockwell is an area of London set to benefit from the Nine Elms regeneration. 100 Hackford Road is currently let off a low rent, and is subject to 5 yearly rents reviews to an open market rent and as a consequence has excellent prospects for both rental and capital growth.”
