Colliers International has recruited capital markets specialist, James Evans to join the firm as an Associate Director in its National Investment Team.

Evans joins from JLL’s Corporate Finance division. He spent six years at JLL, three of which within King Sturge’s Special Projects and European Valuation teams before moving to the M&A team in Corporate Finance.

At Colliers, Evans will work alongside Director John Knowles, specialising in private equity, corporate recovery and debt restructuring. Together they will provide investment advisory and transaction services for purchases, sales, equity raising, restructuring and strategy of real estate assets, businesses and debt opportunities.

Colliers International’s National Investment team has made a string of strategic senior hires in the past 12 months, including South East office specialist Rob Cregeen, industrial investment specialist John Hanson, Director Martin Taylor, formerly of PRUPIM, in addition to John Knowles who was Head of Capital Markets at Lambert Smith Hampton.
