Iconic luxury shoe and handbag designer GINA, is moving its London flagship store from Old Bond Street to Mount Street.
It has taken a lease from Grosvenor Estates on 119 Mount Street and will open its new store in the spring.
Mount Street has become a hub for elite fashion brands with Balenciaga, Lanvin, Oscar de la Renta, Celine, Christopher Kane and Roksanda Ilincic all recently establishing a presence on the street.
Paul Souber of Briant Champion Long (now Colliers International) – who advised GINA on the acquisition of its new store commented:
“Since the business was established by master shoemaker Mehmet Kurdash in 1954, GINA has been creating exquisite shoes for women. Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Victoria Beckham, Paris Hilton, Kate Moss and Jennifer Lopez are just some of the fashion leaders who are regularly seen in GINA shoes."
“The Mount Street store will feature an entirely fresh interior design, and its opening is part of a new expansion programme which will see further international store openings. GINA’s arrival on Mount Street is a further endorsement of what has become one of London’s most discerning and exclusive shopping locations.”
