Property advisers Colliers International was instructed to secure a deal on behalf of the leaseholder, Mitchells & Butlers, after Gregarious Limited ceased trading at the premises in August 2013.

LBC will take immediate occupation at the pub to carry out an extensive re-fit with plans to reopen the new Bohemia in the Spring. It will be complemented by LBC’s own beers which will be brewed on site and showcased in a micro-brewery in the middle of the bar. The Bohemia will also specialise in local community events.

Alex Hill, Associate Director, Licensed and Leisure at Colliers International, said, “The Bohemia is a fantastic community asset and received a vast amount of interest from many established pub operators. We and our clients could not be happier that this much loved pub will now be returned to the community with such an outstanding operator on board with its unique brewing concept.”

Dan Fox, The London Brewing Company, said, “I am thrilled to finally we able to return The Bohemia to North Finchley. As a local resident, The Bohemia was my local pub before its closure and I feel strongly that this has given me a real understanding of what the community loved about it as a venue.”

LBC already operates local brew pub, The Bull on North Hill in Highgate Village, a historic Grade II listed building which has been home to a public house for over 500 years.
