The global property advisers will occupy the entire first floor of the prime City building, which is located off Cheapside, taking 2,500 sq ft within London & Oriental’s recently refurbished 16,800 sq ft Grade A office. Colliers International has agreed a 10 year lease at the property where quoting rents are £55 per sq ft.

Mark McAlister, Head of Colliers International’s City Office, said, “As our current lease draws to a close at the end of 2013, our City business is rapidly expanding and this is an excellent opportunity for the firm to move to a more modern and flexible facility which can allow us room to grow further.

“The configuration of the space at 35 King Street is designed to improve communication and interaction between staff and departments, which will enhance cross-selling and ensure our clients get the most comprehensive advice and experience when working with us.”

Tony Horrell, CEO UK and Ireland, at Colliers International, said, “The move reflects a key corporate strategy to provide an unparalleled working environment for the team. This will be the third corporate relocation for our UK business in the last 12 months; we have relocated our West End headquarters to George Street, bringing all our West End teams together under one roof and our Leeds office has also relocated to the prestigious new Broad Gate scheme in the city centre.”

Colliers represented itself. London & Oriental was advised by Savills and Knight Frank.
