Nick joins after more than six years at CBRE, where he was an Associate Director in its Manchester office specialising in office agency and development. At Colliers, he will continue to advise institutions, landlords and developers in Manchester.
Mark Taylor, Head of National Offices, Colliers International said: “Nick’s appointment has been driven by client demand in Manchester, a market that is increasingly seeing interest from international investors, has some of the country’s most exciting office schemes and is rivalling other UK cities as a major draw to occupiers. The market requires experienced agents with expert knowledge - Colliers has positioned itself to give that level of service across all lines of our client base."
Nick has been involved in a number of important deals across the North West region, including Media City, First Street, Manchester Airport and Airport City.
Nick’s appointment follows the recent news that Michael Hawkins will be joining Colliers International in January 2014 as a Partner in its National Offices team, also based in Manchester. He joins from WHR Property Consultants, where he was a Partner advising property and development companies, funds and often investors; as well as acting on some of the city’s leading schemes including the Noma Scheme and The Landmark.
The new signings in Manchester are the latest in a string of new appointments in National Offices that Colliers has made in 2013, including Mark Emburey as a Director in London from CBRE; Matt Long as a Director in Birmingham from DTZ; last month, Toby Lumsden joined National Offices in London as a Senior Surveyor from Altus Edwin Hill, along with offices specialist Rob Cregeen who joined as a Director in National Investment.
