Offers over £650,000 are being sought for a caravan park on the West Cumbria coast by the specialist Parks division of real estate advisors Colliers International.
Vicarage Fields Caravan Park on Beach Road on the outskirts of Allonby, Cumbria, features 69 holiday static pitches on 4.3 acres (1.7 hectares) and holds a site licence for 80 holiday caravans.
The business entered receivership in February 2013 and is being offered for sale by Colliers International on the instruction of LPA Receiver Phillip Deyes of Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group.
The site of Vicarage Fields also includes Bay View House, a three-bedroom detached home that can be used by either the park owner/manager or as a holiday letting.
Richard Moss, Director of the specialist Parks division of Colliers International, said: “Vicarage Fields offers an excellent opportunity for a new or established holiday park operator. The site occupies a pleasant location between the seaside towns of Maryport and Silloth, offers panoramic views of Scotland’s Solway Coast across the Solway Firth, is close to a cafe, shops and the sandy beach of Allonby Bay and just a few miles from the tourist attractions of the Lake District .”
A closing date for offers has been set for 30th April 2013.
