Colliers International, the leisure and licenced property specialist, has been appointed as joint letting agents on a hotel and leisure scheme in Derby town centre. The firm, together with FHP, is tasked with finding tenants for the remaining unoccupied restaurant buildings at Derby Riverlights, which is already home to a Hampton by Hilton hotel, Holiday Inn and Jimmy’s World Grill restaurant.
The scheme is in a prime town centre location adjacent to Derby City Council’s offices and proposed new swimming pool. Colliers International is offering attractive terms to restaurant businesses in exchange for a new 15 year lease.
Ross Kirton, Director at Colliers International said: “As well as fronting Westfield Derby, a 1,000,000 sq ft shopping centre and 12-screen Cinema De Lux, Derby Riverlights fronts the River Derwent with landscaped waterfront gardens.
With the river views, a bus station delivering 12 million people per year, a 900-space car park and the prime retail pitch opposite, Derby Riverlights has it all. Attractive terms are available for tenants to become part of this exciting destination.”
