Testimonials

"Since 1975 I have bought and sold many properties, quite a few through Colliers or Robert Barry as they were called,  but none in more difficult times than now with this terrible COVID 19 close down. Ill health has forced me to retire from the hospitality business,  but over the last 45 years, I have never found someone more professional, able, patient and understanding than Peter Brunt has been while he guided my wife and me through this sale." Jean-Marie Lauzier Bull Hotel Burford July 2020

“I have been involved for c35 years in the licensed commercial world in various capacities throughout my career in roles as banker - lender; banker –recoveries & debt collections; licensed trade group operator and private equity portfolio owner. During this time I have probably dealt with all the major UK national agencies including competitors such as Christie & Co: JLL; GVA; Edward Symmons so I can say from a very informed position that Colliers Bristol has been be far the best agency I have dealt with over the last 10 years thanks primarily to Peter Brunt, the man I consider the best licensed agent in the UK” Rob Smith Horizon Capital Management Limited re sale of Boscundle Manor St Austell, April 2020

“ Over the years Peter has been excellent at keeping in touch and is someone to turn to for all sorts of hospitality issues. When it came to wanting to market the hotel there was only one man to turn to . Peter dealt with our sale in a very professional way with good honest communication and his knowledge  of the Cotswolds is second to none and very useful.  Peter has a great personal touch and one of his talents is creating sales opportunities as well looking after sale instructions. I would highly recommended Peter to anyone looking to sell.” Martin Agius, vendor Plough at Clanfield, Oxfordshire March 2020

“Peter was always on hand to offer pragmatic and honest advice.  I felt we were in an experienced and safe pair of hands. Without question the Colliers service was significantly better than that offered by the main competitor ( who we initially engaged, and then parted company with ).” Mike Morgan vendor Llansantffraed Court Hotel and  owner of Welsh Rarebits December 2019

“We bought and recently sold via Peter. His knowledge and expertise are a given. Where Peter stands out, is the measured level of advice and personable support given at each varying stage of the buying/selling process – second to none”!” Phil & Evelyn Roberts, vendors Shaven Crown, Shipton-under-Wychwood May 2019

“Peter Brunt and Colliers were my first choice when looking to sell the Swan, he marketed it as intended for Lease but knowing that the Freehold sale was also an option. We therefore attracted both sides of the market and achieved a sale. I in fact bought the Swan through Peter and now 2 years later have sold it through him achieving a great price. I would wholly recommend Peter and Colliers, experts in the area and great to deal with.”  Charlie Crossley, vendor of Swan Ascott under Wychwood Jan 2019

“The service we received was first class, the result extremely pleasing following a competitive bidding process and if you are in need of an agent to handle your B&B we would heartily recommend going to Peter and Colliers.” Cheryle and Anthony Katz, vendors of The Lansdowne, Bourton on the Water September 2018

“Peter exceeded my expectations, producing an excellent recent in selling the business when previous agents had failed and I would definitely recommend him.  Overall between 11 and 12 out of 10!” Nick Beardsley vendor Foston’s Ash Inn nr Cheltenham September 2018

“Having met Peter at the time of our purchase of the Puesdown and taken easily to his manner and style, he was an automatic inclusion in our options for an agent when selling. Having also looked at other options, once we had met all our potential candidates and considered their pitches, he stood out above the rest. Having instructed Peter, he set about marketing our business in a thoroughly professional manner and during what turned out to be a very challenging sale, he maintained a calm composure, provided solid and sensible advice and completed the sale at a price that was above the asking level. I would not hesitate to recommend Peter to other vendors, nor to use his services again in the future.” Paul Sutton vendor of the Puesdown Inn February 2018

“We would like to thank you very much for all your help and assistance in Selling Cricket Field House. We had been on the Market with a previous agent but had been unable to secure a sale. Despite in our opinion a very difficult purchaser , you guided and kept the ball rolling. Your professional and engaging persona, ensured we kept a level head in at times extremely difficult negotiations [and wish] your expertise and sense of humour, we believe archive the end goal. Thank you very much” Brian and Margaret James, Cricket Field House Salisbury Sept 2017

“Having built up a relationship over the years, Peter was in a position to approach us directly when a buyer was looking for a property in Cheltenham.  Upon hearing we would be interested in selling, Peter was then able to bring another potential buyer to the table and the best price was achieved.  Thank you – 10 out of 10!” Jeremy Shaw, vendor of the George Hotel, Cheltenham February 2016

“Peter’s long experience of this market was evident and he followed up all sales leads and chased up interested parties post viewings. Having dealt with other Hotel Agents in the past we had a very jaded view of your competitors. Following our experience with Peter and his team however, I would have no hesitation in recommending Colliers as being head and shoulders above the competition. You exceeded our expectations. Thanks for a job well done.”  Paul and Anna Galvin vendors of Banbury House Hotel June 2014

"In the Cotswolds, there is only one man and one company to deal with, Peter Brunt from Colliers International. His inside knowledge of the pubs and hotels throughout the whole of the Cotswolds area is staggering, a walking commercial encyclopaedia of this hospitality sector. A straight talking, honest man to deal with, Peter will tell you "as it is" which long term is the only successful way to achieve the desired results. I have no hesitation of recommending Peter to anybody looking to buy or sell in this area, in fact it would not be such a smart move if you did not talk to Mr Cotswolds first!!" Vendor of Burford Lodge 2013
