He also has executive responsibility for Project and Building Consultancy throughout the UK Regions.
Accomplishments
Nick was appointed Director and Head of Project and Building Consultancy for the UK Regions in January 2020, having gained 22 years’ experience in commercial property.
Prior to this, Nick was Director and Head of Project and Building Consultancy for the North of England from July 2015.
Between 2012 and 2015, Nick was a Director of GVA and Head of the Building Team in the Yorkshire region. Nick and his team were involved in a wide variety of both public and private sector instructions.
Prior to this, 2008 to 2012, Nick was employed as an Associate Director with CBRE and was responsible for all types of Building Surveying instructions, concentrating mainly on contract administration and dilapidations instructions.
Nicks first employment was with GSD (Grenville Smith Duncan) between1998 to 2008. As part of a small team of Building Surveyors in Leeds, Nick had experience of most aspects of Building Surveying instructions including project management, contract administration, dilapidations work (landlord and tenant), technical due diligence surveys and defects expert witness.

Mark joined Colliers in December 2015 and is a Director within the Leeds Project and Building Consultancy department. He has over 17 years commercial experience having started his career at Atisreal/BNP Paribas Real Estate.
Mark is responsible for providing a wide range of commercial Building Surveying advice in respect of both professional and project-based instructions.
He has vast experience in acting in the role as Development Monitor for a variety of commercial and residential developments. He has also undertaken numerous Contract Administration roles in respect of both new build and refurbishment schemes, including detailed design, specification, and project monitoring.
Other skills include advice and negotiation of dilapidations liabilities for both investor and occupiers.
A Trainee Quantity Surveyor currently undertaking a BSc (Hons) degree at the University College of Estate Management (UCEM).
Joined the Colliers International Project & Building Consultancy Team as Administrator / Secretary in May 2010.
John joined Colliers International in November 2015 as an Associate Director in the Manchester office from GVA where he spent 11 years as a Chartered Building Surveyor.
He has diverse and extensive experience in all areas including new build, refurbishment, project monitoring, asset management, dilpidations and survey work for both public and private sector clients.

Since joining Colliers, Keith has played a leading role within the department and currently heads-up the Building Consultancy team in the South West. Keith undertakes the management of portfolio instructions and has experience in the planning and execution of multiple site inspections throughout the UK. Keith has experience in Dilapidations acting for both Landlords and Tenants and has provided strategic advice regarding break options, exit strategies and mitigation of cost. In addition to his Dilapidations work, Keith also has experience of Acquisition Surveys, European Due Diligence, Lead Consultant and Contract Administration, Party Wall, Building Reinstatement Valuations and PPM

Alan joined Colliers International in June 2019 as a Chartered Senior Surveyor and has over 8 years’ experience as a Building Surveyor.
Since joining Colliers, he has led on the delivery of several projects including occupier office fit-out works for international organisations, dilapidations refurbishments and a £4 million industrial development.
He has diverse and extensive experience of professional surveying disciplines including:
- Contract Administration;
- Technical Due Diligence including: Pre-Acquisition and Vendor's surveys;
- Planned Preventative Maintenance surveys;
- Dilapidations advice/surveys;
- Schedules of Condition;
- Reinstatement Cost Assessments; and
- Licence to Alter.
Chris is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers. He has over 30 years professional experience working in both private and public sectors and has worked both consultancy and clientside.
