Mike leads the Project Monitoring team within Project & Building Consultancy and has over 30 years experience across a number of sectors with a focus on Construction, Logistics and ‘Lean’ Management.
Mike’s passion is in providing ‘best in class’ service to our clients through a clear understanding of their requirements and adapting our service offering to align with these. Mike has and continues to drive continuous improvements within his team to ensure service levels are exceeded wherever possible.
Results driven, Mike is an excellent relationship manager always with a focus on managing client expectations.
Mike also has experience in procuring and managing Supply Chain and Logistics with exceptional negotiation skills.
Accomplishments
Commercially driven, Mike has a proven track record of leading projects in Construction, Facilities and Asset Management within the construction, pharmaceutical, property and retail sectors.
Mike has both Development and Fund Monitoring experience. Development schemes that Mike has monitored include residential, mixed use, hotels and student accommodation. Forward fund / investment schemes include industrial, commercial offices and industrial. Project construction values range upto £200M.
Prior to joining Colliers Mike has latterly worked for a Management Consultancy driving improved service levels within housing associations. Previous to that Mike was UK Logistics Manager for a global pharmaceutical company where he trained in Lean Management (Six Sigma) and was involved in worldwide standardisation of asset management within R&D which resulted in $multi-million back to the business. Mike continues to apply this ‘Lean’ skillset in continuous improvement initiatives.
