He is a corporate member of the Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation and has over 10 years experience in the administration and collection of Local Taxation charges. Mark has an in depth knowledge of business rates legislation and caselaw
Mark manages the rates audit for BT which to date, has secured over £1 million of savings.
Mark was involved in securing £400,000 discretionary rate relief for Estee Lauder PLC.
He was also involved in securing £150,000 worth of savings for Go Outdoors Ltd.
Recovered over £100,000 in business rates overpayments on behalf of Holland & Barrett

Philip joined the rating team at Colliers CRE in December 2004. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation (FIRRV) and has approximately 20 years experience local government experience of the management and collection of local taxation charges. Philip is a former examiner for the Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation (Level 3 Certificate in Local Taxation - Non-Domestic Rating Law) and a former External Quality Assurance Officer for the IRRV's Level III Diploma in Local Taxation.
Head of Accurates
I have over 20 years’ experience in the Rating industry and head up the Accurates team at Colliers International.
I started my career at Wolverhampton City Council in 1999 within the Revenues Department. I joined Colliers International in 2007 as a Rating Compliance & Audit Manager and was ultimately promoted to Head of Accurates in 2020. I am a diploma member of the Institute of Revenues, Rating and Valuation (IRRV).
Adam joined the Rating Team at Colliers International in November 2017 as a Director . He is a corporate member of the IRRV (Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation) and has over 20 years experience. Adam started his career with Goodman Nash Ltd in 2001 as a business rates auditor and was promoted to Director in 2014.
Adam is part of the Accurates team which sits within the Rating department at Colliers, the team provides forensic audit and examination of historic business rates and council tax records back to 1990 identifying rating errors and overpayments for clients.
Compliance & Audit Manager
Before joining Colliers International, Adele worked for Lichfield District Council and Tamworth Borough Council and was involved in the administration and collection of local taxation charges. Adele joined the Rating Department at Colliers International as Senior Compliance and Audit Assistant in June 2015 and has over 30 years experience in local taxation charges. In 2017 Adele was promoted to Comliance and Audit Manager.
