I joined the Valuation and Advisory team at Colliers International in September 2010, initially focusing on portfolio valuations and valuations for secured lending purposes in the UK and accross Europe. However, I moved teams in 2012 and now focus solely on valuations within the UK.
Whilst training for the APC, I also spent time working in the Logistics and Industrial agency department, in order to gain further experience into this sector.
In 2014 I completed a 9 month secondment in the Real Estate division of the Central London Corporate Bank at HSBC. My role included offering internal valuation advice for properties and portfolios worth over £10m. This enabled me to gain further insight into my clients' needs and objectives as well as helping to strengthen our relationship with HSBC.
I now predominantly value properties for secured lending purposes within London and the South East.
My major clients include; Lloyds, Barclays, New River and HSBC.
Laura joined the Valuation & Advisory Services department at Colliers International in January 2014 after graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a 2:1 Honours Degree in Real Estate Management. As part of her structured training, she rotated into the Industrial & Logistics department, where she was involved in acquiring and disposing industrial accommodation in the wider London and South-East sub-markets.
Laura has since been working as a Senior Surveyor in the Valuation & Advisory Services department, focusing predominantly on commercial assets in the wider South-East, for loan security purposes. In addition to this, she is also involved in the half-yearly valuations of Shopping Centres on behalf of NewRiver REIT Plc.
Ailish graduated from the University of Bristol in July of 2014 and started working at Colliers International in September of the same year.
