Working principally in the capital markets in healthcare transactions, overseeing deals with lot sizes of between £5m and £300m for both operational businesses and investment sales. Also providing strategic portfolio and real estate advice, exit strategies and portfolio valuations for a number of the largest care providers and healthcare funds both in the UK and Europe.
Specilaist sectors include elderly care, private hospials, senior living and specialist adult services.
Having completed a Master's degree at the London School of Economics Max started work in the commercial property sector and for most of his career has specialised in the Healthcare sector, working first for Inventures, a consultancy division of the UK Department of Health and since 2004 for Colliers International. Max become a Director in 2007. Max is involved in providing strategic advise to healthcare operator's in terms of their growth strategies; reviewing and advising on healthcare developments; carrying out valuations and due diligence or trading healthcare and education properties; carrying out structured fundraising plans; and providing transactional advisory advise to healthcare clients.
I qualified as a chartered surveyor whilst working for a local surveying practice in Croydon. I was subsequently employed by CBRE as part of their property management department and was then approached by Colliers CRE to join their Investment Property Management team, which I did in 2003. I subsequently joined the Healthcare team of Colliers International, where I have worked since 2005 / 2006
I joined Colliers International in March 2019 as a Personal Assistant in the Healthcare Department.
I assist to all the Surveyors and Directors on the team, providing secretarial and administrative support and maintaining information with regards to all projects carried out by each member. Clients include corporate and private operators, banks, investors, developers, charitable organisations and local authorities.
