Professional Summary
Joseph joins Colliers in 2017. During his time, Joseph has been involved in a variety of projects, ranging from hotel acquisitions, to the analysis of investment opportunities, funding appraisals, and helping with the asset management of Colliers’ portfolio.
Prior to this, Joseph has been mainly involved in property development, funding appraisals (bank finance, forward sale and forward funding) and financial modeling of various debt financing scenarios.
Accomplishments
Joseph’s main responsibilities include:
Support asset sales and financings as required as well as securing third party financing
Prepare asset level business plans and cash flow projections
Understand market, submarket and competitive set for assigned assets Monitor investment performance through the review of monthly/quarterly property financial and operating statements
Analyse and interpret operating leases and management agreements
Familiarity with tax and legal structures for holding investments
Report to the bank on covenant information and property monitoring
Desktop exercises for proposed hotel real estate projects for refinancing, disposal, or acquisition
Market Feasibility, Financial Feasibility, & Brand Impact Analysis, achieved through market research, market demand analysis, financial projections, and impact analysis.
Develop bespoke and custom financial models to assist in analyzing different hospitality real estate projects
