Louise's role within the Rating Department involves dealing with a large number of appeals on behalf of various local and national clients.
Louise has been involved in complex negotiations for a diverse portfolio of properties across the whole of Scotland in order to secure reductions in Rateable Value for clients.
Louise is also involved in Commercial Lease Consultancy comprising mostly of rent reviews, lease renewals and lease re-gears. Working for a number of national clients on their Scottish property porfolios.
Louise joined Colliers in 2005 following the acquisition of Campbell & Company. After working within several departments including Retail Agency, Investment, Landlord & Tenant and Building Consultancy she was recruited in 2010 by the Rating Department as Administrator for Scotland. Following successful achievement of the Diploma in Surveying Practice from the University College of Estate Management in 2013 and election to Associate Member of the RICS in 2016 she now deals with appeals and offers up to date advise to clients on the changing world of business rates and relief schemes.
I joined Colliers International in April 2016, working in the accurates division dealing with empty property rates. I am currently the only Colliers employee in Scotland who works exclusively for accurates in Scotland.
