Dawn joined Colliers Internationals Rating Department as a Rate Account Manager in February 2009 as part of the new Rate Account Management team in Birmingham. Dawn has a wealth of valuable knowledge and experience within the Finance Sector having spent 18 years in Local Government Finance working in Income, Banking, Debt Recovery and Training/Development fields - plus the last 12 years at Colliers dealing with every aspect of the Rate Account Management and Finance for reputable clients. Dawn has an extensive knowledge of the billing and collection of non-domestic rates which she utilises in her role to ensure she provides a comprehensive treasury management service for her clients, providing various reports including monthly funding requests and rates budgets in a timely manner to meet client expectations. 

Dawn was promoted to Senior Rate Account Manager at Colliers in January 2012 followed by a further promotion to Rate Account Team Manager in November 2016.

Gained IRRV Level 3 Technician Certificate in Local Taxation and Benefits in December 2012.

Won a Rating Award at the Companies Rating Development day held in Newquay in May 2014 for Best Service Deliverance for client Co-operative Group Limited, demonstrating hard work and commitment to the Company and client.

Promoted to Rate Account Team Manager In November 2016. Currently managing  3 senior members and overseeing a team of 11, dealing with every aspect of the rate account management and finance for various clients including a reputable client with a portfolio of approximately 5,000 properties within the UK. 


IRRV Level 3 Technician Certificate in Local Taxation and Benefits.

NVQ: Level 2 in Accounting, Level 3 in Business Administration, Level 3 in Customer Service.

On-going dispute 2013/14 where Co-op were summonsed for non payment of business rates however they believed the landlord was liable. Eventually after continuous perseverance, the landlord accepted liability and the costs and account for Co-op were withdrawn.
That's great news - thank you so much. A lot of hard work on your part but it has paid off!
