Chris Lewis is a senior member of Colliers’ National Capital Markets Division with over 25 years’ experience of investment work. He focusses on the office sector and with his team is active across the marketplace providing a range of services including:
- Investment sales and acquisitions
- Sale and leasebacks
- Forward funding’s and commitments
- Joint venture advice
- Views and analysis on emerging trends and developments
Chris acts for a number of retained and non-retained clients which are a mix of institutional funds, local authorities, property companies, developers and private investors from the UK and overseas. In addition, he has been involved in a variety of sale and leasebacks for corporate occupiers.
Chris joined Colliers in January 2021 having spent over 15 years with Cushman & Wakefield where he was Head of Office Investment. Prior to that he worked at a niche investment firm in the West End of London. He commenced his career with a year University placement at Weatherall Green and Smith in 1995 which he subsequently re-joined in 1997.

- Advised Abrdn on the acquisition of Temple Quay House, Bristol for £75m
- Advised Spelthorne Borough Council on acquisition of Brockton’s Thames Valley office portfolio for c. £300m
- Advised Carlyle on the disposal of Colmore Plaza, Birmingham for £140m
- Advised Canada Life on the sale of 145 – 154 King Street, Hammersmith for £20m
- Advised M&G Real Estate on the purchase of 66 Queen Square, Bristol for £30m
- Advised GSK on the sale and short-term leaseback of their 330,000 sq ft Stockley Park Campus for £56m
- Advised Spelthorne Borough Council on the purchase of 12 Hammersmith Grove, Hammersmith for £170m
- Advised M&G Real Estate on the sale of Watson House, Reigate for £27m
- Advised Canada Life on the purchase of Frizzell House, Bournemouth for £24m
- Advised M&G Real Estate on the sale of Chiswick Green office building for £65m
- Advised Spelthorne Borough Council on the acquisition of the BP Campus Sale & Leaseback, Sunbury for £358m
- Advised Abrdn on the sale of 2 Longwalk, Stockley Park for £23.6m
- Advised Barings on the purchase, refurbishment and subsequent disposal of Hays House, Guildford for £10m

Chris was educated at Bristol Grammar School and holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Estate Surveying from The Nottingham Trent University
