Having graduated in Bsc (Hons) Real Estate at the University of Westminster in July 2015, Callum joined the UK Retail Lease Advisory team as a graduate and continued in the role following qualification in November 2017.
As part of the role, Callum advises a range of clients on portfolio strategy, lease renewals, re-gears, rent reviews and cost-saving initiatives for a range of landlord and occupier clients. Callum has a focus on high street and shopping centres as well as out-of-town pod units, with clients including Currys PC World, Bupa, Vivienne Westwood, Fraser Hart, Church Commissioners, ABF Pension Fund and European Vision.
Prior to joining Colliers, Callum graduated in July 2015 with a First Class Honours in Bsc (Hons) Real Estates from the University of Wesmintster.
Callum subsequently passed his APC in November 2017 and has since assisted in APC trainingboth internally and externally.

Callum has worked in a lease advisory capacity for the Church Commissioners, predominantly for the commercial element of the Hyde Park Estate, Connaught Village, for the last year 18 months.
During this time, he has demonstrated an excellent understanding of the Commissioners’ strategic aims for the Estate and their holistic view to rents, i.e. mindful of the challenges facing retailers in Connaught Village and the wider market, whilst ensuring that the Commissioners achieve best value for their assets.
He is professional and concise in his reporting and displays an impressive grasp of the intricacies of all the cases he is dealing with at any one time.

Callum has really assisted Dixons Carphone in particular with numerous lease renewals of the Carphone Warehouse portfolio, as well as getting strong results on our rent reviews. The Carphone business continues to evolve as we plan for the future and alongside it, so does our property strategy. Callum has responded well to the challenges that arise from this, in particular to negotiating hard with our landlords, to reflect the tough market that we are in, and he has been achieving lease flexibility and the improved lease terms that we look for in our renewals. He has regularly initiated reviews of our stores with upcoming lease expiries or break options, and then gone on to achieve attractive deals, including rent reductions and incentives, sometimes agreeing rents reducing to a peppercorn rent with rolling break clauses or to reduced rents with regular breaks, in line with our Board’s requirements.
