COPENHAGEN, June 3, 2014 - The iconic new building in Axeltorv in the central part of Copenhagen has now stepped into a new phase, and soon we will see it rise. This means that the city gets a new prominent landmark of very high architectural and structural quality.
The law firm Gorrissen Federspiel’s new headquarters will take up 14,000 sq m of the total 19,000 sq m of office space. The total area above ground level will be 23,000 sq m – the remaining 4,000 sq m will accommodate retail. The 23,000 sq m above ground level are supplemented by an underground parking etc. of 15,500 sq m.
Colliers International Denmark A/S has arranged the lease to Gorrissen Federspiel, and Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects are the architects of this prominent building, which is scheduled for completion in the autumn of 2016.
EjendomsSelskabet Norden, which is owned by the pension companies ATP Ejendomme, PFA Pension and Industriens Pension, has signed a turnkey contract with Züblin A/S who will be responsible for the construction of the prominent project. ATP Ejendomme represents the investors in the overall management of the construction until completion.
Gorrissen Federspiel, which currently employs 400 people, has been based in Dagmarhus at Rådhuspladsen (the city hall square) since 1989.
