The luxury 4 star 15-bedroom hotel, which features crow step gables, ornamental turrets and stone mullions, is set in over ten acres of private grounds and offers spectacular views of the Cromarty Firth.
Nairn-headquartered Grant Hotels Limited, which acquired the hotel from Wickman Hotels Limited, is set to build on Kincraig Castle’s reputation as a favourite Highlands of Scotland destination. The hotel has a range of elegant public rooms and restaurants, lounges and bar, and holds an AA 4 Star Quality Standard Award, a 2 AA Rosette Award for Culinary Excellence, alongside a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2013.
Planning consent was previously granted to convert the former steading buildings, alongside Kincraig Castle, which could see the development of additional bedroom accommodation and a state-of-the-art conference and function facility.
Alistair Letham, a director with selling agent Colliers International, commented: “Kincraig Castle Hotel is an outstandingly attractive, typically Scottish, property and its quality of product and service is reflected in its numerous awards. The business has enjoyed year-on-year growth, boosted by the excellent commercial business centred on the Cromarty Firth area, which should offer further opportunities for growth in 2014 and beyond."
Amy Grant, the hotel's managing director, added: “Our top priority is to provide the very best service possible and to enhance guests' overall experience while staying and dining at the Kincraig Castle Hotel.”
