The £1.25m deal sees Glasgow-based Aspin Estates Limited acquire the 32,038 sq. ft. leisure property, adjacent to Lidl and Iceland in the city’s Waterfront area, which has also been granted a change of use to Class 1 retail.
Paul Shiells, Director, Licensed & Leisure with Colliers International said: “This is a well located modern building that has a wide range of alternative uses. We are delighted that Aspin Estates has recognised the opportunity to develop this further.”
B&M Retail has agreed to lease the property from Aspin, which sees the fast-growing discount retailer which will open its fourth Home Store in the Edinburgh city area.
