Over 6000 property peers voted and chose Colliers International’s Scottish operation as the best in the Scotland, in a strongly contested category, including Jones Lang LaSalle, Cushman & Wakefield, King Sturge and Ryden.

  • Transacted more industrial space than any other Scottish agent.
  • Instructed on 800,000 sq ft disposal in East Kilbride and a 1m sq ft unit in Dunfermline for Freescale Semiconductors Inc.

  • Disposal of quality office accommodation in excess of 50,000 sq ft throughout the Central Belt of Scotland.
  • Recently appointed near Craighall Business Park, Glasgow, on behalf of Elmwood Developments.


  • Among the first agents to lodge material change of circumstance appeals on the grounds of increased vacancy levels and over supply of retail space late 2009, early 2010.
  • As a result of these pioneering appeals, the Scottish Rating team have in the last 12 months secured refunds in excess of £3.5m for clients. This represents an overall increase in fee income between 2009 and 2010 of 240%.

  • Completed two dilapidation settlements, saving £1m on claims acting for Scottish Water and Galliform.
