Sara has experience in both client-side and advisory businesses, with a background in valuations, real estate finance, investment strategy, development, asset managment and transactions management.
Prior to joining Colliers in 2016, Sara led the EMEA Credit Risk Review function at GE Capital's €12bn Real Estate business. Sara’s real estate career began at DTZ, where she held roles within the Agency, Development, Valuations and Corporate Finance teams.
Sara has lived and worked in continental Europe and has expertise across all asset classes in European markets. Shis is a Felllow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). Sara is a member of the Colliers EMEA ESG SteerCo and a member of the CIVAS Global Valuation Board.

Richard Barrett

Richard Barrett has worked in property since 1983 and joined the company in 1987, becoming a director in 1990. He specialises in the valuation sector with specific responsibility for investment valuations and covers the UK and Europe including Germany, the Netherlands and France. Richard values for a variety of lending institutions and also provides regular valuations for a number of property funds.
Richard also sits as an APC assessor for the RICS.
Martyn is the Head of Valuations for the City Office, covering City Core, Midtown, Docklands, Southbank, Shoreditch, Clerkenwell and Aldgate markets.
Martyn provides valuation advice for a variety of purposes including Secured lending, valuations for Accounts and Financial Statements, acquisition and disposal.
He has over 15 years valuation experience and has a detailed knowledge and understanding of the central London markets.
Martyn joined Colliers in February 2018 from CBRE, where he spent 8 years within the Central London Valuation & Advisory team. Whilst at CBRE he advised on some of the best buildings within the City to include 30 St Mary Axe, EC3; 20 Fenchurch Street, EC3; 10 Upper Bank Street, E14 and 1 & 5 Bank Street, E14.
The team value a high proportion of transaction volumns each year for either loan security or acqusition purposes.
Patrick joined Colliers International in January 2014 as a surveyor, joining from Jones Lang LaSalle. Patrick’s valuation experience has allowed him to be introduced to and form strong relationships with the major banks and building societies as well as property companies. Experience has included the valuation of single assets as well as portfolios nationwide with a comprehensive knowledge in all major property sectors.
He has also gained experience in providing strategic advice and valuing development opportunities with particular emphasis on the London residential market. His knowledge and understanding of residual valuations has enabled him to become involved in a number of high profile instructions.

James has experience in valuing single trophy assets and large portfolios of commercial and residential investment and development properties across Europe and Africa.
Recently James has been acting for a number of financial institutions and private equity firms in coordinating performing, non-performing and commercial loan valuations across Europe. The portfolio lot sizes have ranged from €250 million to €1 billion.
Recently James has been very active in the Dutch and German real estate markets working closely with the Colliers network in these countries.
James also carries out annual and semiannual valuations for financial reporting purposes along with one off valuations for IPO listings.
James has specifically been playing a greater role in sourcing cross boarder business development opportunities and referrals for the immediate and wider Colliers business.

Andy joined Colliers International as a Director in April 2008, having already built up considerable experience in valuing all types of property for private investors, property companies, enterprise companise and pension funds as well as providing the main High Street lenders with advice for secured lending purposes.
Andy is a Trustee of Spifox, the property industry's charity in Scotland.

Prior to that, I was Head of Portfolio Valuations at GVA Grimley, a team that I had set up 10 years earlier. Started my career post university at Knight Frank where I completed my professional training and worked for 10 years.

Paul joined Colliers in 2008 from BNPParibas Real Estate (formerly Weatherall Green & Smith/Atis Real) where he was Head of Investment Valuation.
Paul specialises in the regulated valuations of commercial portfolios across the UK for various Pension Funds and Units Trusts as well as valuations for company accounts and loan security.

James joined Colliers in 2006 and is Head of the Birmingham Office and a Director of Valuation and Advisory Services. He began his career with Chesterton PLC in Birmingham in 1999 before moving to D&P Holt Limited in Coventry in 2001.
William Biggin

William has been a qualified member of the RICS for nine years. William began his career with King Sturge in Leeds before moving to DTZ as valuer in Manchester in 2003.
William joined Colliers in 2007 and is a Director and Head of Valuation in the Manchester Office.
Howard is a Director within the Scottish Valuation team of Colliers, based in Edinburgh, and deals with valuation work for many different types of mainstream, alternative commercial and residential properties from both an investment and development perspective. Howard's experience principally relates to valuation, including co-ordination of a number of major UK portfolio valuations and a variety of valuations for finance or security purposes as well as the provision of regular monthly and quarterly valuations for a number of UK funds, institutions and property companies. Howard has specialised in valuation since 1990, concentrating on the corporate, banking, property company and high net worth individual sectors of the debt driven property market, but also has experience in lease negotiations, dispute resolution and other professional work including acting as an Expert Witness for clients in a number of cases at both the Court of Session and the Sheriff Court in Edinburgh.

I joined the Bristol Valuation team at Colliers International in June 2012 and now head up the team. I undertake a variety of different commercial valuations in sectors including Office, Industrial, Retail and Residential.
A large proportion of my work focuses on secured lending valuations for banks; followed by fund valuations and valuations for accounts purposes.
I will always complete any task to the best of my ability. I am very open to new ideas and obtaining different peoples perspectives. If there is a problem I will always try to find a solution.
I qualified (MRICS) in 1993 and have specialised in the valuation of commercial property for the past 15 years. I am based in Leeds in the north of England and oversee Colliers valuations teams in the UK regional offices. I have a close working relationship with my clients who are a broad range of lenders and property funds.
Tim heads up the Valuation & Advisory Services team and brings to the firm 16 years’ experience in the areas of valuation and investment agency.
Given his background, he has particular expertise in the areas on investment valuation including high street retail, retail warehousing, shopping centres, supermarkets, offices and leisure properties. Other areas of expertise include residential development appraisals, nursing homes, industrial and rural properties.
Tim also has considerable experience in advising clients on loan book acquisitions and disposals.
Aside from valuation work, he advises a number of local and institutional clients on investment disposals and acquisitions.
