Colliers International is relocating its West End of London teams to 50 George Street, W1.
Colliers’ 325 West End staff currently occupy two buildings in the West End, 9 Marylebone Lane and 72 Welbeck Street. 50 George Street, which is owned by Loftus Family Property, comprises 33,160 sq ft over five floors; lower ground, ground and three uppers and is in the heart of the vibrant Marylebone Village.
Commenting on the move, Tony Horrell, Chief Executive at Colliers International said:
“It has been my intention since starting at Colliers to bring all our West End teams together under one roof. We have designed the space to improve communication and interaction between staff and departments which will enhance cross selling and ensure our clients get the most comprehensive advice and experience when working with us.”
David Hume, head of Colliers’ West End Tenant Rep team, who led the search for new premises, added:
“We have spent a lot of time finding out exactly what our staff want and require in their working environment and 50 George Street has proven to be the ideal property for us. Our new building will create a strong brand identity for us which was a key requisite as we continue to move the business forward. It will not only provide staff with a modern and fun working environment but also appeal to our clients through a dedicated executive client lounge and vast, flexible meeting and entertaining space.”
The new office will serve as the UK and EMEA headquarters for Colliers International.
Colliers International UK also has offices in the City of London, Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin.
