The acquisition price of £13.5m reflects a yield of 5.3%. Atlantic Court is located on a south side of Kings Road opposite the junction with Markham Square and next to Marks & Spencer. The building which is 17,392 sq ft (1,615.72 sq m) consists of 2 retail units let to Holland & Barrett and Everyone Everywhere, a restaurant occupied by Benihana and 3 floors of modern air conditioned offices one of which is currently vacant with the remainder let to Michael Auckett Architects. The vendor was a private Irish client who was advised by Mellersh & Harding. Dominic Amey, Director at Colliers International commented: “We believe retail rents along the Kings Road will provide good growth over the next few years and the prime position of Atlantic Court will allow our clients to benefit from this growth.” Colliers International has also been appointed to manage the property.
