Asia, 2 March, 2017 – Colliers International (NASDAQ: CIGI; TSX: CIGI), a global leader in commercial real estate services, today announces strategic leadership changes in Southern China. To align with the company’s new focus on a national business structure in China and to complement Colliers International’s regional growth strategy, the following three appointments have been announced. 

Effective immediately, Alan Fung has joined Colliers International as Managing Director for Guangzhou. Alan is a seasoned real estate veteran, with more than 20 years’ experience in leasing, advisory and transaction services. Over his career, Alan has been responsible for providing professional services to numerous large scale projects in Hong Kong and Southern China, as well as helping domestic and multinational corporations address their property and investment needs. In addition to his duties as MD for Guangzhou, Alan will also oversee Colliers International’s Office Services business in Shenzhen. 

To complement Colliers International’s new nationally focused Capital Markets business, Eric Lam has moved to a specialist role leading Capital Markets Transactions, focusing on Southern China and the Pearl River Delta as a key part of Colliers International’s regional client focus. Eric was previously Managing Director of Institutional Client Services in Southern China, a role he has held since 2005. 

Finally, Joey Yuan continues in his new role of Deputy Managing Director of Colliers International in Shenzhen. Joey took up this new role in 2016. With 15 years of experience in the real estate consulting field, Joey has been heavily involved in delivering valuation and consulting services and solutions to the full spectrum of clients across the region.
