Asia, February 2, 2016 – Leading global commercial real estate services firm, Colliers International Group Inc.’s (NASDAQ: CIGI; TSX: CIG) is pleased to announce the addition of a team of specialists to the Industrial Services Division in Singapore.
Mr Lim Kien Kim (林建金), a veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the industrial property sector, will head up the Industrial Services team as Executive Director. Joining him are three other members – Catherine Ng (黄丽菁) | Director, Steven Chew (周栋汶) | Senior Manager and Marine Lee (李秀莲) | Manager – who bring to our business 37 years of diverse industrial experience among them.
Ms Tang Wei Leng (邓慧玲), Managing Director of Colliers International, Singapore, says, “Kien Kim and his team are dynamic individuals, who fit well into our collaborative and high performance culture. The successful team recruitment is a boost to our Industrial Services Division, which will now see a total strength of seven members.”
She adds, “Kien Kim will drive the Industrial Services business in Singapore, with specific focus on customised and insightful solutions to accelerate the success of our clients. The Division will better align with the corporate growth strategy and leverage the Asia Occupier Services platform to enhance our client offerings."
Committed to delivering high performance, Mr Lim and the team he brings have a solid track record in brokering industrial deals and providing advisory services. One of their notable transactions was to provide advisory services to a 400,000-square-foot industrial facility, from design stage to providing occupier services and eventually finding a single tenant who took up 50% of the building. The team also succeeded in helping a Japanese multinational company lease a replacement property of about 22,000 sq ft, at very competitive rental terms within one month.
Specifically, Mr Lim has held senior positions in various real estate companies. To date, he has structured more than SGD600 million worth of industrial deals. Mr Lim also provides advisory services covering new builds, space utilisation, investment strategies and REITs. Additionally, he has more than five years of plant and machinery valuation experience and has delivered projects in Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, China and Singapore.
The appointments will take effect on 15 February 2016.
