Professional Summary
Marta is Associate Director of Corporate Finance department at Colliers International. She began her career in Aareal Bank and joined Irea Corporate Finance in 2004, and in March 2018 she joined Colliers International. She specialises in the valuation and sale and purchase of property portfolios, the development of business plans, as well as the financial restructuring of real estate companies, advising on transactions valued at over €2,700 million.
She also has extensive experience in commercial property portfolio transactions, specially offices and retail in Spain and Europe in the context of large debt portfolios, both PLs (Performing Loans) and NPLs (Non-Performing Loans). Projects on she has worked, include advisory services on debt transactions valued at over €33,000 million.
Recently Marta has been involved in the advisory services to Blackstone in the acquisition of Banco Popular’s NPLs and REO’s portfolio from Banco Santander, with an Outstanding Balance of €30,000 millon and the advisory services to a Financial Institution on the sale of an office building in Madrid of 10.000sqm . Other notable achievements include advising both on the buy and sell side for debt and commercial and residential REOs portfolios such as Projects Gaudí, Pamela, Olivia, Pegasus, Patriot, Arcadia and Quasar for SAREB, Spanish Bad Bank, financial entities and investment funds.
Accomplishments
Notable achievements include the financial restructuring of more than €2,700 million of debt belonging to Spanish real estate Groups as well and financial advisory services on the purchase and sale of mortgage loan portfolios and REOs. In particular, she has participated in Quasar project, providing advisory services to Blackstone in the acquisition of Banco Popular’s NPLs and REO’s portfolio from Banco Santander, with an Outstanding Balance of €30,000 millon, which has been the largest real estate transaction in the Spanish market.

She holds a Bachelors degree in Law and Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE E-3).

Ignacio is Managing Director of Corporate Finance department at Colliers International. He was a founding partner and Corporate Finance Director of irea from 2002 and in March 2018 he joined Colliers International. . He specialises in mortgage loan portfolio transactions and complex financing deals, restructuring debt and real estate company mergers and acquisitions in the Spanish real estate sector.
Ignacio began his career in the real estate corporate finance division of Arthur Andersen.
Miguel is a Director Corporate Finance Department at Colliers International. He joined Irea Corporate Finance in 2007, and in March 2018 he joined Colliers International after the acquisition of Irea by Colliers International.
Since he joined irea in 2007 he has participated in the valuation and sale & purchase of assets and companies, as well as strategic planning and financial restructuring for industrial and real estate companies. He has taken part in transactions valued at over €2,500 million, €500 million of which comprised syndicated finance structures.
Miguel has been involved in providing advisory services for the sale of debt portfolios worth more than €40,000 million. Notable achievements include advisory services provided on the sell side to Sareb (Project Antares, Project Pegasus and Project Agatha) and Banco Popular (Arcadia and Patriot Projects), and also on the buy side to Blackstone (Project Quasar, Project Eloise and Project Tower), Apollo, Banco Santander and Citibank (Project Octopus) and Oaktree (Project Castle).
