Andres is an Analyst in the Corporate Finance Division. Since he joined Colliers in 2018, he has participated in different financial advisory projects and corporate transactions in the real estate sector.
Before joining Colliers International, Andres worked as an intern lawyer at Garrigues (Tax Division) and Baker McKenzie (Banking and Finance Division), and started his professional career at BBVA London, as a member of the Global Trade Finance team.
Mikel Echavarren is CEO of Colliers International Spain. He was President and CEO of irea since its foundation in 2002 until March 2018, when irea joined Colliers International. Prior to joining irea, Mikel was a partner in the Spain and Portugal real estate corporate finance division of Arthur Andersen.
With over 30 years of experience in the real estate sector, he is an expert in strategic planning for real estate groups and in complex mortgage debt portfolio, real estate company and property transactions. He has managed financial restructurings involving over €8,000 million worth of debt belonging to real estate, construction and services companies.
Miguel is Associate Director in the Corporate Finance division at Colliers International Spain. He joined Irea Corporate Finance in 2014, and in March 2018 he became part of Colliers International after the acquisition of Irea by Colliers International.
He is specialized in advising on corporate transactions and debt & REO portfolio transactions, among others.
He has recently provided advisory services on (i) the sale of several NPL, PL and REO portfolios to institutional investors, valued at over €6,000 million (Olivia/Birdie/Vega/Pegasus/Traveller/Jaipur/Tambo), (ii) the creation of 19 joint ventures between Sareb and different top-tier Spanish RE developers (for the development of 1,100 houses with a total investment of €130 M and total sales of €270 M) and (iii) the sale of RE companies (such as the sale of Promociones Habitat to Bain Capital for €220 M).
Notable achievements include advisory to several corporate groups and some of the main Spanish RE developers on different areas such as the performance of strategic plans, company valuations for sale purposes, the creation of joint ventures and feasibility analysis and economic analysis of different types of RE assets and projects for funding purposes.
He began his career at the Consolidation & Corporate Accounting division of Ferrovial Servicios.
Antonio is a Managing Director in Corporate Finance departmen at Colliers International Spain. He joined Irea Corporate Finance in 2007, and in March 2018 he joined Colliers International after the acquisition of Irea by Colliers International.
He is specialized in advising on M&A transactions, on both the buy and sell sides, the sale of debt portfolios and debt restructurings.
Antonio is the responsable & director of an alternative financing fund, with an investment volume of € 200 million for the acquisition of land for residential use.
He has recently participated in the sale of several real estate companies, debt and REO portfolios to institutional investors, valued at over €4,000 million, created numerous JVs between real estate developers and institutional investors and restructured debt across the real estate secto.
He began his career at Deloitte Corporate Finance, where he was involved in a number of real estate M&A deals.
Sergio is Associate Director of Corporate Finance department at Colliers International. He joined Irea Corporate Finance in 2008, and in March 2018 he joined Colliers International.
Since 2008, he specialises in financial restructurings for companies belonging to the real estate, transport, food & beverage, construction and industrial sectors, in asset investments and divestments, project financing, asset and company valuations and strategic consultancy.
He also has extensive experience in the analysis and valuation of debt portfolios secured by real estate assets, including both PLs (Performing Loans) and NPLs (Non-Performing Loans), providing both buy and sell side advisory on transactions valued at over €1,600 million.
Notable achievements include advisory services to Sareb on the sale of Pamela, Olivia and Pegasus portfolios, as well as advisory on financial debt restructure amounting to €3,900 million and with a total volume of €1,800 million divested assets through debt-to-asset agreements.
