Ignacio joined Colliers International in September 2019 as part of the Corporate Finance Team. Prior to Colliers, he was a Market Risk Analyst at Management Solutions.
He began his career at BBVA in the Global Markets Division as part of the FX Swaps & Forwards Trading Desk.
Special Situations & Debt Advisory: Ignacio has been involved in several insolvency and Restructuring proceedings with OBs above 150M €, as well as in the design and implementation of debt recovery strategies, restructuring and refinancing processes
M&A: Ignacio has participated in M&A processes of companies specialized in the hotel sector.
Corporate Portfolio Advisory: He also has experience in distressed banking transactions, including PLs, NPLs and REOs portfolios, and Structured Finance (Securitization)
Capital Markets: participation in single and portfolio assets transactions, including sell sides of Residential and Office buildings.
Previously, Ignacio participated in Risk Measurement and management projects and had carried out hedging transactions and investments in FX and interest rates derivatives.
Ignacio holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago.
He also studied the Double Bachelor of Business Administration and Law at Universidad Loyola Andalucía.

Iratxe is Director of Corporate Finance department at Colliers International. She joined Irea Corporate Finance in 2005, and in March 2018 she joined Colliers International.
Since 2005, she specialises in the valuation and sale and purchase of assets and companies, financial advisory for insolvency procedures, as well as strategic planning and the financial restructuring of industrial and real estate companies, advising on transactions valued at over €800 million.
She has also been involved in providing advisory services for the sale of debt portfolios to institutional investors, including both PLs (Performing Loans) and NPLs (Non-Performing Loans), valued at over €2.200 million. Some of the most significant projects that she has worked on include Projects Abacus, Pamela, Olivia, Liceo, Tribeca, Beetle and Niseko.
Alvaro joined Colliers International in 2018. As part of the Corporate Finance team, Alvaro helps clients capture value through all types of transactions.
Previously, Alvaro worked as an Investment Associate at Hines and as a Corporate Finance Associate at PwC.
Alvaro studied at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) and holds two degrees in Business Management and Law.
Alvaro has worked in Corporate Finance / M&A for over 5 years, and has experience in Banking and Real Estate industries.
Miguel is a Director Corporate Finance Department at Colliers International. He joined Irea Corporate Finance in 2007, and in March 2018 he joined Colliers International after the acquisition of Irea by Colliers International.
Since he joined irea in 2007 he has participated in the valuation and sale & purchase of assets and companies, as well as strategic planning and financial restructuring for industrial and real estate companies. He has taken part in transactions valued at over €2,500 million, €500 million of which comprised syndicated finance structures.
Miguel has been involved in providing advisory services for the sale of debt portfolios worth more than €40,000 million. Notable achievements include advisory services provided on the sell side to Sareb (Project Antares, Project Pegasus and Project Agatha) and Banco Popular (Arcadia and Patriot Projects), and also on the buy side to Blackstone (Project Quasar, Project Eloise and Project Tower), Apollo, Banco Santander and Citibank (Project Octopus) and Oaktree (Project Castle).
Ignacio joined Colliers International Spain in February 2018, after spending a year at Irea, as a Corporate Finance analyst.
