Cibus acquires high-volume supermarket portfolio at price in excess of DKK 2bn

Swedish Cibus Nordic Real Estate AB, investing in supermarket properties in the Nordics, has now made its first-ever acquisition in Denmark.

The transaction involves a total of 34 retail properties across Denmark, let to Coop, Salling Group, Dagrofa, Rema1000, among others. The portfolio GLA totals approx 76,000 sq m, the average WAULT is about 5 years, and the transaction volume was just shy of DKK 2.1 billion.

The transaction was an off-market sale facilitated by Colliers with Muhamed Jamil Eid, Director, Valuation & Advisory, Copenhagen, and Peter Winther, Executive Director, Capital Markets, as sell-side advisor to a foreign-owned property investment company that had been building the portfolio over the past decade or so.
