PFA sells high-volume office property to CapMan

Nordic asset management company CapMan has acquired the property at Stationsparken 27-33, Glostrup, Greater Copenhagen, from domestic pension fund PFA at DKK 395 million.

The property is a virtually fully let multi-user office complex, originally constructed in 1994 to serve as the seat of the Copenhagen County administration. Today, the property’s tenants include the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration and a district court, Retten i Glostrup.

Overall, the property comprises a GLA of some 28,000 sq m.

“We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to invest in this modern and well-located office property, situated right next to the future traffic hub provided by the existing Glostrup station and the upcoming Greater Copenhagen Light Rail along the ring road 3 corridor. We look forward to working together with the property’s tenants in terms of further upgrade investments, including energy optimisation measures”, says Peter Gill, Partner and Head of Denmark, CapMan Real Estate.

Speaking on behalf of PFA, Michael Bruhn, Director, PFA Ejendomme, says, “In recent years, PFA has invested heavily in the development of new office buildings, e.g., the office development schemes at Nordø for law firm Bech-Bruun and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. To rebalance the portfolio, we have formulated a strategic aim to adjust our office portfolio via divestments, and as part of this strategy, we chose to divest Stationsparken 27-33, which has been in PFA’s ownership since construction.
