Collies was sell-side advisor in the recent sale of the property overlooking the Copenhagen Lakes.
Situated at Vester Søgade 10, DK-1601 Copenhagen V, the property comprises approx 13,800 sq m, distributed over two office buildings extending to six/seven floors plus two basement levels. The property is a landmark building, originally dating from 1971 and over the years repeatedly refurbished internally.
Today, the property is fully let to Sund & Bælt and MobilePay. Sund & Bælt is a state-owned company responsible for Denmark’s largest transport construction investments. MobilePay facilitates the easy transfer of money. The company is fully owned by Denmark’s largest bank, Danske Bank.
The property enjoys an exceptionally attractive location, overlooking one of Copenhagen’s lakes, Sankt Jørgens Sø, within walking distance of Copenhagen Central Station and Vesterport station.
The seller of the property is Vesco ApS, ultimately owned by Aage V. Jensens Fonde.
“We are delighted to have been given the opportunity of assisting the seller in the divestment of this truly well-located office property. We would like to take the opportunity to thank all parties involved in the transaction for a smooth and efficient process”, states Søren Skovbjerg, Senior Associate with Capital Markets, Colliers.
Apart from Colliers, law firm Accura assisted the seller in connection with the sale. Danica Ejendomme was assisted by law firm Bruun & Hjejle as well as Rambøll.
The property sold at a price of DKK 600 million.
