Landmark apartment building Bella Tower divested to DWS

The landmark apartment building called Bella Tower was divested to DWS, one of the world’s leading asset management companies. The seller is Bellakvarter A/S, a company owned by domestic pension funds Sampension (66%) and AkademikerPension (33%), with the property developed by Solstra Development ApS.

The property is situated in Bellakvarter, a new mixed-use residential and commercial area around the Bella Center exhibition centre in the Copenhagen district of Ørestad. The area is midterm DGNB Gold-certified and is developed based on an ambitious and innovative masterplan. In addition, Bellakvarter enjoys easy access to the Copenhagen Metro as well as multiple recreational areas.

Bella Tower, ready for occupancy in April 2022, comprises a total GLA of 16,656 sq m. The property is fully let and features a five-storey base and a 19-storey tower structure with a total of 199 new residential units.

Colliers facilitated the sale on behalf of Bellakvarter.
