Germany: Retail Investment Q2 2022

The retail investment market held up relatively well in Q2 despite difficult economic conditions, which are weighing heavily on the retail sector and on consumer confidence. Transaction volume fell by 21%, only half that recorded across the other asset classes. Retail assets increased their market share by a slight 15%, putting them in a solid third place behind office and logistics.
