Investment activity on the German investment market proved quite lively in Q2 with a mid-year result of €23.1bn, almost back to the level seen in the previous boom years. This result shortened the distance to the 5-year average from 28% in March to 6% at the end of Q2. A key driver here was the return of megadeals with a volume upwards of €500m.
