Office Letting

By the end of 3rd quarter, 521,000 sqm of office space had been implemented in the federal capital. Although significantly more office space, at 212,000 sqm, was let in the third quarter than in the first two quarters of the year, the turnover result fell short of expectations.

Numerous large deals in excess of €100 million fueled market activity in Berlin, the shortfall at the beginning of the year was made up seamlessly. The result of €6.9 bn marks the second-best result ever recorded, and the ten-year average was exceeded by a whopping 65%.
