Nelson Bejarano

Currently, Mauricio is the leader of Valuation and Advisory Services team at Colliers International Colombia. He has experience in evaluation and consulting services that include the valuation of real estate income generation at national and international level. The types of properties of experience include office buildings, regional shopping centers, shopping centers, apartment complexes, public housing, industrial buildings, independent commercial properties, vacant lots, proposed income producing properties and various special properties. Mauricio is a MAI and SRA Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute of the United States of America and MRICS Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors-RICS. Additionally, he has the Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) from American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute. 

Lorena Buitrago has five years of experience in the corporate real estate sector. She has worked for market research area responsible for the centralization of information in the department, gathering and analysis of data to develop real estate market reports at national level. On the other hand, she has worked in marketing area where she developed activities as real estate marketing planning, implementation of marketing plans for each type of property, development of customer reports, monitoring the activities, supplier management, database segmentation and Smart Calling management.

Currently she works as consultant in the valuation and advisory services department, being responsible for carrying out corporate property valuation processes and market and feasibility studies. The types of properties appraised include office buildings, regional malls, shopping centers, apartment complexes, industrial buildings, stand-alone retail properties, vacant land, proposed income-producing properties, and various special purpose properties. Regarding market research studies, she has led projects for different companies requiring assistance when dealing with complex real estate decisions, like relocations, highest and best use analysis, marginal demand analysis and investment opportunities.

Finally, Lorena has managed some valuation portfolios where she is responsible for the coordination, organization, and audit of the valuation process.

Juan Moreno has a year of experience in the corporative real estate sector, supporting different projects and activities in Colliers International. He has worked as a Marketing Commercial Assistant, focused on supporting the Marketing and Market Research Area. Among his main activities and responsibilities there was the market report development for office, industrial and retail segments, this for different cities in the country through the market data gathering and processing. He supported different projects as part of his career plan and within the different Line of Business. At the time, he works as an Analyst for the Valuation and Advisory Services Team assisting the different services in the area, including the development of appraisal assignments and market reports for different clients.

Roverth Pinzon has experience as a professional in Real Estate, and has been involved in projects of public and private nature that make him knowledgeable in the field of property management, as he has knowledge of land inspections and regulations related to territorial planning of the city of Bogota. Performed tasks such as technical appraisals within rural areas where he conducted studies of typologies of construction and agriculture. Ventured into the area of Market Research by moving to an important company in the sector of market research, which specializes in carrying out studies for large consumer companies. Recently, he has applied his knowledge in projects which incorporate Geographic Information System for geo-referencing data and geographic researches. Finally, he is working as consultant inside Appraisal & Consulting area for valuations process of corporative properties, market researches and Project implementation of support.

Professional in Marketing and International Business, graduated from Sergio Arboleda University in 2015; with more than 4 years of experience in Marketing and Market Research for companies such as Sergio Arboleda University, Estudio de Moda S.A. and Tinsa; with skills in data analysis and processing, research and consulting analysis, Appraissal development ,  writing and reporting of market studies, with knowledge in the use of office tools and statistics (SPSS, SAP, Universitas XXI).

Civil Engineer from  Universidad de los Andes, Master in Project Management from the University of Barcelona, ​​pursuing a Master's in Finance from the Universidad de los Andes. Knowledge in the area of ​​project management, corporate finance, investment analysis, experience in cost control, structuring, monitoring and control of projects. Skills of analysis of financial statements of projects, analysis and control of cash flow,  project budgets, development and control of construction work schedules and quality control. Professional with high leadership skills, teamwork, strategic thinking, creativity and initiative, aimed at meeting objectives.

With a humanistic and technological training, he has enough skills to manage, evaluate, participate, implement and manage all information of land resources, excelling in land regulation and management, geographic information systems and appraisals. In his academic background he has acquired expertise in urban and rural land management, appraisals, geographic information systems and geomantic tools in order to bring all his skills to the various tasks performed.  

With ten years of experience in the area of Avaluos Consulting and Urban Planning Regulation, Jairo currently serves as Director of Urban Regulations for the Consulting and Appraisal department of Colliers International Colombia. Working together with a team of suitable professionals and committed to the development of the activity, he advises important companies at national and international level, providing truthful and timely information for the processes of negotiations of buying and selling, rent and investment, based on technical studies of commercial appraisals.
