William Wan graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from China Three Gorges University majoring in Hydraulic and Hydro-Power Engineering.
He has been working in the construction field since 2005. During the past 13 years he has successfully delivered industrial and infrastructure projects in China as well as oversees projects in Philippines, Ghana and Nigeria.
William possesses the required knowledge and experience of both civil and MEP aspects of construction, deep understanding of project management procedures, strong teamwork skills and good accommodation capability to cultural differences.
UCB Zhuhai pharmaceutical plant is a rented 4 floor building with total building area 12,000 sq.m. Civil work is basically blocking laying and clean house construction including epoxy floor, metal panel wall, clean window and door, as this is a pharmaceutical plant, clean air conditioning system is the key work.
But because of limited ceiling height, complicated air ducting system on top of the false ceiling has very limited space to arrange, not to say to provide a satisfied maintenance access for owner’s engineering department. To make that happen, as project manager, I led contractor’s and our HVAC engineering to climb onto the false ceiling to inspect on site and mark all optimized maintenance access on the construction drawing immediately. With great effort, final maintenance access was accepted and praised by owner.
