The industrial and logistics market registered growth in the second half of 2021. The supply of modern industrial and logistics space in Sofia increased by 12% and reached 1,318,600 sqm. This was due to the completion of several large-scale logistics hubs in the areas of Ravno Pole, Chelopeshko shose and Bozhurishte.
During the pandemic some commodity groups were replaced by others in the sector, leading to an increased necessity for storage space. Thus, the demand in the second half of 2021 was strongly dominated by the retail sector (89%), followed by manufacturing (7%), logistics (3%) and transportation & spedition
Аverage asking rental levels remained stable - for class A EUR 4.7 per sqm per month and for class B - EUR 2.7 per sqm per month.
