During her studies in business economics at the University of Ghent, Marie-Désirée did several internships in the real estate sector, including at Vesta. It was here that her interest in the investment market began to grow.
As a junior consultant in the Capital Markets department, first at BelSquare, then at Colliers, Marie-Désirée turned her passion into her profession.

Brixius is the Head of the Capital Markets department of Colliers Belgium since January 2023. Before that, he was responsible for the development of the Capital Markets department at BelSquare.
Brixius holds a law degree and a postgraduate degree in notarial law and taxation from the University of Brussels.
Until recently, Brixius was a Partner within EY’s International Tax & Transactions Services (ITTS) team, where he specialized in Real Estate, Hospitality & Construction (RHC). Brixius has more than 20 years of experience in advising on real estate transactions, due diligence of real estate companies and the structuring and financial and tax optimization of real estate investments.
Brixius started his career at a notary’s office and PwC before joining EY in 2002. From 2006 to 2011, he was a Partner of the Capital Markets team at Cushman.
After a degree in real estate management at the University of Greenwich, Dion specialised in the European real estate investment sector. After his studies, he held various trainee positions in the field of management consulting, both in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Dion is part of the Capital Markets team, previously at BelSquare, now at Colliers Belgium. Before that he worked at Bouwinvest Real Estate Investors in Amsterdam.
