Wallnerstraße 5 in the first district successfully leased to Polestar

Vienna, 24.06.2021. “Pure, Progressive, Performance” are the pillars of the Polestar brand. Shortly, you will have the opportunity to experience Polestar live in their new showroom, since Colliers and Otto have successfully leased the former Tesla shop in Wallnerstrasse 5 to Polestar. As of autumn 2021, the forward-looking Polestar electric cars will be represented on the ground floor of the famous “Hochhaus Herrengasse” on 280 m². The “Hochhaus Herrengasse“ is Vienna’s first high-rise with a height of 52 meters. It was built from April 1931 until November 1932 and was ahead of its time – only more than 20 years later the next high-rise was built with the “Ringturm”. For that reason, Polestar´s innovative electric cars fit perfectly into “Hochhaus Herrengasse”, because the brand represents sustainable and future-fit values.

Tanja Tanczer, Head of Retail Colliers Austria: “It's great to see tradition and modernity combined in Hochhaus Herrengasse: in the city's oldest skyscraper, Polestar's performance electric cars will be in presented in style. The showroom will impress with its central location, the know-how of the product specialists and the unique Polestar design language, which will also be reflected in the showroom.”

Tom Hörmann, Head of Polestar Austria: "Polestar has set up its headquarters in Vienna and will operate its only showroom for the time being in a prominent location in the centre of Vienna. The prestigious location with ideal infrastructure connections gives us excellent opportunities for the start."
