Chris is a Director in the business space investment team based in London with a strong knowledge of the UK regional investment markets.

Chris has transacted over £1.5 Billion of commercial real estate in the past few years in both the single building and portfolio markets.

Many of his clients include UK institutional investors, private equity, property company and private investors and Chris has an exceptionally strong network of overseas clients.  


Advised Colony Capital on their first two direct real estate transactions in the UK being the 25 property "Silverbird" portfolio for £94,000,000 from West Register and Astral Towers a £19,650,000 office and development scheme in Crawley, both with Quidnet Capital acting as asset manager.

Advised Hines Global REIT and Moorfield on the £190,000,000 purchase of the majority of the Brindleyplace Estate in Birmingham in 2010 and forward sale for Hines and Lone Star in March 2017 for £260,000,000

Advised M&G on the £200,000,000 purchase of Snow Hill 2 in Birmingham, one of the largest single asset office buildings outside London.

Advised Topland on the £14,000,000 acquisiton of Barclays Regional HQ in Coventry.

Advised a Hong Kong based private investor on £28,000,000 of real estate in Doncaster and Cardiff

Advised a South African REIT on their maiden purchase in the UK - a £28,000,000 Tesco Regional Distribution Centre in Hinckley, Leicestershire

Advised a South African property company on the acquisition of a B&Q retail warehouse in Newport for £12,500,000.

Advised F&C REIT on the sale of Victoria Square House, a £42,000,000 office property in Birmingham city centre.

Advised South Street Capital on the £12,750,000 purchase of a 100 acre industrial estate in Nottinghamshire

Advised Seven Capital on £18,000,000 of South East office buildings including Churchill Plaza office complex in Basingstoke and 223 Bath Road in Slough

Advised Staffordshire County Council Pension Fund on over £33,000,000 of acquisitions in Cardiff, Wolverhampton and Birmingham.

Advised a Bangkok based private investor on £22,000,000 of warehouse acquisitions in Barnsley and Bognor Regis  

Advised Hines on the sale of a 400,000 sq ft distribution warehouse in Birmingham for £25,000,000 - one of the largest chilled warehouses in Europe.

Advised IKEA on the sale of their former 675,000 sq ft distribution hub in Thrapston, Northamptonshire for £35,000,000.

Advised Fujitsu on the sale and leaseback of their Telecommunications HQ in Birmingham for £17,850,000.

Chris started his career at GVA Grimley in Cardiff within the valuation department. He moved to Insolvency and Corporate Recovery specialists Bache Treharne (Birmingham) in 2004 advising banks, receivers and administrators on the sale of distressed assets.

Chris completed his APC in 2006 and moved to Colliers International specialising in Investment brokerage in 2007; becoming an Associate Director in 2010; and a Director of the business in January 2012.

Chris is now based in London covering business space investment throughout the UK.
