Yoron Cohen is a vice chairman in and co-lead of Colliers International’s New York Capital Markets & Investment Services division. In addition to managing the team and collaborating to create strategy, he arranges sales and capitalizations of investment real estate and executes international marketing programs for all product types, including office, multi-family, urban retail, hotel, and development and redevelopment opportunities.

Education

Prior to joining Colliers in 2016, Mr. Cohen was one of four senior partners who led JLL’s New York Capital Markets & Investment Sales team.  Earlier, he served as vice chairman in Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets group. In 2007, Mr. Cohen was one of the top four producers at Cushman & Wakefield globally. Previously, he was an executive managing director at Insignia/ESG (for 16 years) and prior to that a senior vice president at Newmark & Company Real Estate, Inc., where he established the firm’s sales team with Richard Baxter. Mr. Cohen and Mr. Baxter have been business partners for over 35 years.

Mr. Cohen attended Northeastern University and completed graduate courses at Bernard M. Baruch College.

Mr. Cohen is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. He serves as a board member of the American Friends of Rabin Medical Center of Israel (AFRMC).
