Vern Schultz, SIOR has been involved in commercial real estate in the Chicago area for over 30 years. He joined Colliers International in 1997 and is currently an executive vice president within the Industrial Services Group. Vern works with tenants and owners in the Chicago area. Since joining Colliers, Vern has completed over 1,000 transactions with a total value exceeding $2 billion. Vern enjoyed previous employment with Grubb & Ellis where he was awarded the firm’s distinguished Senior Marketing Consultant designation within his first year and was a top 20 producer in his third year. Prior to Grubb & Ellis, Vern had been a senior vice president of Baird & Warner Company’s Corporate Group, forming the division in 1984. Additionally, he served as vice president and manager of the suburban office of Cushman and Wakefield of Illinois from 1980-1984, and he was head of his own firm, Hartford Realty Group, for four years from 1977-1980. Vern has been an active member of the Industrial Development Research Council, National Association of Corporate Real Estate Directors, and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. He was a founding member of The Commercial Network.

He also provides real estate services to select financial institutions such as Connecticut Mutual, Equitable Life Assurance and Heitman Financial Services.
