Steve Levitas focuses on all aspects of real estate advisory work for his clients including corporate services, tenant representation, RE strategy development and implementation, site selection, financial analysis and modeling, deal negotiation, construction project management and tax and operating expense audits. He also has particular expertise in build-to-suit office, industrial and data center facilities. Steve Levitas joined Colliers International in 2005 and has over 13 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He works within the Office Advisors Group and specializes in advising commercial users of real estate in the acquisition and disposition of leased and owned real estate. Steve began his career in real estate in 1998 with The John Buck Company’s Strategic Advisory Group where he developed an extensive understanding of developer pro-forma construction and financing models, which he uses as a benefit in executing real estate transactions on behalf of his clients. Steve’s professional accomplishments include winning the 2005 NAIOP “Office Transaction of the Year” award, being selected as a 2006 CRA “Chicago Office Broker of the Year Finalist” and being named a 2006 Co-Star “Power Broker”. He has competed over 4.75 million square feet of real estate transactions to date valued in excess of $3.0 billion. Steve is a member of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of Chicago and The Entrepreneurship Institute and a supporter of Children’s Memorial Hospital and the Erikson Institute.
