Shane Minnis represents private real estate investors, institutional real estate investors and Silicon Valley companies through a unique combination of landlord and tenant representation services to develop and execute commercial real estate strategies that address his client's current and future anticipated business concerns with a specialty in leasing and sales of office and R&D assets in the Silicon Valley. Although, he has the experience and capabilities through the Colliers International platform to expand these services on a national and international level depending on the needs of his clients. Shane has completed over 110 lease and sale transactions, with total square footage over 3.4 million square feet and consideration in excess of $500 million since 2012.
In order to best meet the demands of a growing eco-conscious marketplace, Shane obtained LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification in 2008. This accreditation recognizes his thorough understanding of green building practices and requirements of the LEED Green Building Rating System.
Shane was born and raised in San Jose and currently resides in Willow Glen. He is a Santa Clara University graduate, where he was an executive member of Pi Kappa Alpha and trained with both the boxing and rugby teams. Although his roots are here in the Silicon Valley he studied abroad for a semester in Barcelona, Spain. When not in the office Shane spends his time working out at the local 24 Hour Fitness, tackling the daily WOD through CrossFit or re-energizing at Yoga Source in Los Gatos. Unless there is a local country concert to be enjoyed with friends and family!
