I serve as the Managing Director of the Washington, D.C. office for Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services, where I supervise a team of appraisers covering the Mid-Atlantic region. I worked for Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services from 2005 to 2011 as a Senior Valuation Specialist. In 2008, I assisted in opening the Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services Denver office, successfully expanding the national coverage area of Colliers International Valuation & Advisory Services. I have previously worked for Grubb and Ellis as a Team Leader. I also previously worked for the U.S. Department of State from 2011 to May 2013 as a Senior Real Estate Appraiser, assisting with valuation related matters and negotiation support for acquisition and disposal for the U.S. Government’s International Real Estate holdings. My appraisal experience has been in 38 states and approximately 30 international locations. I have been involved with numerous fields within real estate valuation including: single asset valuation, portfolio valuation, market analysis, feasibility studies, lease and cost analysis, highest and best use analysis, rent analysis, eminent domain, litigation support, insurance valuation, foreclosure and bankruptcy support, and tax mitigation.
I assisted in opening the Denver, Colorado CIVAS office in 2008 and reopened the Washington, D.C. Valuation office in 2013. I was one of the youngest appraisers to obtain their MAI designation within CIVAS. I have experience appraising and reviewing appraisal work from more than two dozen international locations. I read, write, and speak fluent Spanish.
Valuation and Advisory Services
Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Spanish from Brigham Young University, Idaho. I also have over 300 credits in valuation and financial-related coursework through the Appraisal Institute.
